Industry Visions & Values – Track Overview

A studio’s game is only as good as its team. It can be a big seller on the app store but if it has long-term plans then it’ll typically only fully achieve them by ensuring sustainability is built at the core of the company. Some of that will mean financial considerations, of course, but much of it comes down to the quality of the working environment.

Industry Visions & Values is a new addition to PG Connects Seattle 2020 that specifically focuses on the issue of building a studio dynamic that enables a team to work to its full potential – from prototyping processes to diversity & inclusion to company environment to staff management approaches to even specific development philosophy (e.g. games for good), it’s all here.

In that spirit, we’ve deliberately targeted the expert minds we felt would deliver the wisest wisdom for a compact but hard-hitting series of sessions that ought to both highlight the issues and offer practical solutions to what is too often an overlooked element of a company’s success story.
