James is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and executive with 15 years of experience in the game industry. Before founding PlayFab, Jamesstarted and ran PopCapAsia. Earlier in his career, James co-founded two game studios and worked on server technologies at Microsoft. James is an advisor to Code.org, where he served in 2013 as chief evangelist for the Hour of Code initiative that introduced more than 20 million students to computer science. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard with a degree in computer science.
