Barry has worked in the games industry for more than 18 years. He’s currently the vice president of partnerships and alliances at DeNA where he’s responsible for initiating and fostering the relationships between a range of licensing partners such as Hasbro, Marvel, Disney, and Lucasfilm. Barry’s role also includes external developer outreach to enhance DeNA’s portfolio of games.
Prior to his current role with the company, Barry was the senior director of third-party at DeNA where he oversaw the Mobage gaming platform in North America. He’s launched over 50 third-party games and oversaw development of the Mobage Developer Portal. Prior to DeNA, Barry co-founded the GameStrata social gaming network and he spent 12 years at Electronic Arts working on the Madden NFL video game franchise and the Pogo platform.
