Rovio Entertainment is a global mobile-first games company, best known for the Angry Birds brand, which started as a popular mobile game in 2009, and has evolved to various entertainment, animations and consumer products in brand licensing.

Rovio has produced two Angry Birds movies (2016, 2019) and announced the production of a third one this year. Rovio has seven game studios: in Espoo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Montreal, Toronto and Izmir. Rovio is owned by SEGA.
