The MENA region has the fastest-growing games sector by revenue in the world, according to respected games data platform Newzoo. From 2023 to 2024, the region grew 4.6% to $7.1 billion, and in its 2024 forecasts, Newzoo stated MENA will also outpace all other regions for new player growth too, rising by 8.2% Y/Y to 559m players.
Dubai is an excellent access point to the whole region, and the GamesExpo Summit 2025 powered by PG Connects has already established itself as a key event for games industry investors, with 2024 attracting prominent names like Savvy, MENA’s largest investor in the games sector.
The Investment Summit, a new addition to the main stage for 2025, runs for the afternoon of Day 1 and will feature panels and talks specifically structured to focus on games industry investment. Our invited experts will discuss topics such as the benefits of investing in Dubai, spotting opportunities in emerging markets, and global trends shaping the sector.
